Comedy TV pilot: BOUNTY!
Normally, I don’t like collaborating on scripts. Hell, I don’t even like writing groups! To me, the writing process is a very personal thing, something I don’t like to (or even know how to) share. When I had the opportunity to work with my good friend (and one of my favorite Seattle comedians), Dartanion London, I just couldn’t say no.
This might have been the quickest, most effortless script I’ve ever worked on. Dart and I discussed his initial idea for a TV pilot, BOUNTY!, a comedy about the world’s worst bounty hunter, over some coffee at a weird little “pay what you can” cafe. We talked for a couple of hours (I’m not sure if I even took any notes), then I returned to my bat cave and banged out the first draft in less than a day. Other than a few extra gags and a couple of fixed typos, little was changed from the first draft (which is pretty rare for me).
Anyhue, here is the entire pilot script for BOUNTY! Enjoy!
